Ending A Busy Year

Greetings ! to A new year.

 Christmas has pasted and new posts of the gifts I managed to make this year are ready to post

I chose to make a few small items from one jelly roll of material. Two different styles of Table runners and matching place mats.

What else is on the List? A sports throw for those cool night game or really Hockey fans.

This easy ten minute block pattern work out well for this throw. It is certainly big enough to cuddle two!

Now last for this post is my yearly Christmas quilt project. An illuminated panel quilt. I made this much different than some of the quilt kits that are on the market with the mini LED lights.

these lights do not poke through the top panel.

Certainly a lot of definition quilting on this panel, all which made this one fun to do.

I added extra stitching to highlight surfaces with snow effect; the top of coats,train, horse, and sleigh.

White ,  mixture of blues where used. LED rice lights, extra batting under horse, sleigh and engine. Its one of these project you just can not do with just any panel. But the layout of the print was just right for this project.

Where not done!...One more gift did not make the quilting stage and is in the frame now and being quilted. Can't wait to get it finished and post it. 

Clue, its something we see when looking out our windows any time of the year.
