Green Tea and Me

I love Green Teas and when I saw this "short and stout" fabric line a couple of years ago I needed to grab it.

The quilt is made with two different fabric graphics for the main center piece of teas and pots.

The rest is from other lines. Some embroidery was done on the domestic machine the rest on the long arm.

I have added some embellishment as in, tea bag labels, buttons for the tea boxes, and lace and cloths for the shelf.

Green Tea blossoms on a vine of embroidered vines and appliques leaves. I added a few flowered buttons for smaller tea blossoms.

The corner teapot and cups were appliqued and fabric painted for some depth

The steaming from the kettles were free motion quilting.
