A new Art quilt and Handbag.

What a busy time it as been to get the unfinished projects out of the way and onto new items. I managed to finish a large quilt and have yet to get photos done because of weather and I have no place yet inside big enough to do the photos inside. 

But that will shortly change as an interior room  is being worked upon.

This is a photo of one the three cats. Anne is a petite black cat and she is very animated with her actions and movements. I took this photo as my subject and remade the photo in to an art piece.

  It is done! 

A long process from Jan 1st and finished April 6th, just working a couple of hours a day. As you will see it was nothing like I had originally planned; it was supposed to be more minimalist.  Nope I don't think so! 

 This art quilt was divinely guided each day. I had a great time with the Spirit. Made with  scrap fabric I had on hand, then Machine quilted, thread painted and ink painted  to blend this all together. There are mushrooms, birds, butterfly's, a bird house , frogs, dragonflies and a glistening little stream. It takes awhile to look and find all the creatures that I used.

There will be more of these art quilts to come. The are several in the process of being set up.

I will be doing art quilt portraits of pets and or people by commission.

Next Up:  A new handbag

Somethings you just can't find at retail store to your personal liking. There is only on way to solve that issue for me.  

I needed a new bag and had to put one together that was user friendly for my needs. 

The bag is lined. It has two inside pockets, two outer open side pockets, one open pocket on face and one zippered pocket on back,  shoulder strapped with security top

zipper . The bag shown material is with decor fabric on the outside. This is a generous size of 14"L x 11"H x 4"W and 11"opening (approximate size of bag). Large enough for a water bottle, cellphone, eyeglass case, wallet, and essentials. 

I love this bag.

This style of bag  I will be making to sell along with a three or four other styles. 

Color choices will vary. I will post the photos of the bags as I get them finished.

Hope to have my quilt posted shortly its been done since the end of February.

We are all waiting for sunny weather!
