New garden beds

The last week we have been pushing to get the new garden beds done. I am so glad to say we are 95% done..yay!
We have about three plants to move and finish the stone work.
Measly Cat is our supervisor for the day and
as you can see the cattle are curious with the activity.

Millie alias Me alias Measly

This years cattle has increased to three.

There was a bird nest in one of the arborvitaes that we moved and all the egg dropped out. Luckily enough they did not break. I scooped the them up with a spoon with care not to touch them with my hand, placed the in a bowl an scooped them back into the nest. Maybe if their lucky the mommy sparrow will come back to find them.
At the Studio Door

All the bigger plants have been moved into place.

the stone work is almost done.

As there are many more projects that need to be done, these new beds have made it better to work around in the winter.
I was a real bear trying to work with the black flies.
Not to mention hopefully the area bear will not hit are bird feeders.

This is another new garden bed. It sits on top of a big bolder the was hard to mow and plow over. there will only be a few more plant items to do here with the addition of a stone piling art in the center. I cant wait for next years growth of the plants.

The House is getting an up lift in many areas. One down and Seven to go....lol.

I would love to get the barn quilt done this year...ya never know!
I may get around to it.

Now back to the studio to finish up an new Tote pattern design.

Thanks for dropping in!
