The Patio Pond

Just Playing around in the Patio Pond.

I was not happy with some kaleidoscope blocks that I had put together so I though I would just do some playing around with an idea. I used a little bit of texture and free motion, thread art and textile painting, raw edge applique and specialty fabrics 

 I really did a mix bag of ideas to see how it would pan out. 

Just a little bit of fun. 

There are a couple of elements that may need some " imagination explanation".

So Oh you know how it is! lets try to make some lemonade.

 we have the patio Pond, that is of course fish,water plants, flowing water from a jug, fish food and patio lanterns. I left one thing off that I will put one shortly, tassels for the lamps.

The water pouring out of the jar is made with two specialty fabrics with thread painting inside and around.

There is the raw edge applique fish and plants. also their are some shadow fish deeper in the water that I used some tulle shapes. Thread painted the lantern then edged them with lace and added some novelty button.
